What I love - Part Five

I am a big, BIG, movie fan! Have always been and will always be one. I mean who wouldn't love to just hang out and watch a really good movie?!?! Sure there have been some failures in the midst of all...

Here are a few of my oh so many favorite movies:

1.  Stand by me

This is an 80's classic and I luv luv it

2. Transformers
Action, lots of stunts, comedy and just action...mmm

3. Pride and Prejudice
I love me some Mr.Darcy. Although this isn't a movie, but a
tv-series I think it still goes here.

4. E.T
another 80's classic...good one too.

5. Shrek
I am a huge animated junkie too.
This one is just awesome!!

6. The Outsiders
Okay, I was a teenager...so firstly I saw it mainly due to the
looks of the dudes above.
But then I really took to the story and is one of my favourites of
all time.

7. Braveheart
The accent, the story and the music...need I say more!

8. Terminator
I liked Judgment day better, but all in all...good action!

9. Gladiator
I get chills watching this one...:)

10. Grease
Who doesn't like this movie!!

This is just a few of many movies in my list! And it is a long...long list too! :)
If you haven't watched any of them, I suggest you do.

Red light

A few years ago, I and a few of my friends went to the movies. Which is not something which is outbreaking news, since we do that a lot. But that time around was a first for me on a whole different level. We decided to watch "Under the Tuscan Sun", which I myself loved since I had just come from Italy a few months before that and enjoyed every minute of it.

(plus I understood when they talked in Italian)

The "first" thing for me is that I or we got "shushed" and we got these discreet looks from fellow moviegoers.
It was and still is the only time I have ever been "shushed" at in the theater...never have that happened before or after for that fact. And those who know me knows how I act in the theatre, I am usually the one that does the "shushing"!! Interesting how life turns....
To this day I still don't know what or why we were being "shushed".
Marion and Pille, do you remember??!

Anyway the movie is fantastic and if you have ever wanted to go to Italy then this is oh so inspiring and will give you that kick in the but to make the move to do so.

(says she who have been longing to go back for 6 years now)

That is another story for later....now onto why I wanted to write this post and share with you.

In the movie there is a scene where Francis (the lead actresss) and Marcello (the hunky italian dude) sits in a car driving to a town named Positano. As most knows...Italians and driving don't really go hand in hand. Or they do but in a very chaotic and loud way...
Here is how the scene goes:

Frances: Do traffic lights mean anything around here?

Marcello: Sure. Green light - avanti, avanti. Yellow light - decoration.

Frances: What about red light?

Marcello: Just a suggestion.

If you have been in Italy then you know this is soooo true! I still smile whenever I hear it.

Will leave you with the fields of Sunflowers and may you dream of Tuscany tonight....

Another one to my list

I know...I know...I should be in bed by now but I just had to share this important bit of news with you!! :)) How rude would I be for not telling....??!!!!

very rude....I think....

Ohh...you want to know the news?!! Why didn't you just say so! ;)

I just got home from the movies and saw this movie:

I was born in the 80's and grew up watching this when it was on tv, loved it then and love it now!

If you love bad ass attitude, sharp minds, a ton of action, lots of explosions and Bradley Cooper without a shirt?!!! Then I can guarantee you will love this!

Can't wait for the Dvd release....or the sequal....if there will be one....

..One can dream, can't she?! :)

a tear dropper....

If you haven't seen this movie, well....then you should!
It will bring out tears, a few laughter and tears again. But in the end, it will bring out
a sense of joy....
Go and rent it, yeah right now!!! :)
Pop some popcorn and just sit back and let it take your emotions to places it might never
have been before!
