earlier this week I raided my mom's stash of recipes.
more to get some inspiration on new dinner meals, but as always I end up looking through the desserts and cake recipes.
Found this recipe for a applesponge cake that looked divine and I could easily make it in a long pan and cut it up in squares.
So home I went and voila....
But i didn't have any apples at home so I used raspberries from the freezer instead. And that was really really tasty too! The spongecake was sweet and then it got hit with somewhat tart raspberries....
Recipe below is in metric, know there are sites out there who will help you to convert.
