A very simple tabletop centerpiece

We are all very different when it comes to decorating and such in our home. One thing that I took with me from my mother is always have a runner on my diningtable. Where she has flowers I have most of the time Candles....:)

After doing my floors in the kitchen (you can find the post about that here) I ended up cleaning it from top to bottom...due to every little speck of dust that came out of putting down a laminate wood floor.
Following that I went into my "decor-storage bins" in search for materials for a centerpiece.

A very simple and fast one to do. I got everything several years ago, not sure from where, but you can easily create it yourself.

A little piece of summer and sand inside :)
